23) ANNUAL COMPETITIONS (SNOOKER) – KNOCKOUT + HANDICAP CUPS

(a) Each team that entered into the League will take part in a Knockout + Handicap Cup competition where each player will receive an individual handicap based on his/her previous performance. Players entering the league for the first time will have their handicaps set after 5 league matches have been played, Teams exiting by the end of Round One shall be entered in the Handicap Plate Competition.

(b) Any players that have played less than 5 frames can play but their handicap will be same as the best player in the team (lowest handicap)

Extend the range of handicaps but maximum a player can give is 80

No outstanding matches or cancellations when there is 3 weeks of the League matches left

Top 8 extended to 16 due to same players playing in POTL and St Blazey if left as it is at 8

St Blazey matches, to include Liskeard Divison 1 v St Blazey Rees League with same format as Premier v Victory

Ammendment

32) Contact will be made by the Home player (unless otherwise advised) within 10 days of the draw being live on website giving the choice of 3 dates to play the game. Failure to do so will result in the fixture being switched to the table of the Away player. The dates given must not all be on a Saturday or Sunday.

Change to 15 days of draw being live to allow for Cornish Times

Highlighted is committee meeting week (A) is as it currently is (B) changes if agreed at AGM that if up to 24 teams in the league that Handicap Cup be round robin format (drawn out at AGM) 4 groups of 6, after 5 matches top 2 goes to main quarter finals, 3rd & 4th goes into plate, see below 5th and 6th are knocked out (C) keeping current format but up to 24 teams, (D + E) if we go down to 20 teams in (D) in the handicap league would be 4 groups of 5

4 Groups of 6 teams, top 2 into main, 3rd/4th into plate, played over 5 weeks, only play opponent once, level on points best head to head, quarter-finals being 1 (Group 1 winner plays runner-up group 4) 2 (Group 2 winner plays runner-up group 3) 3 (Group 3 winner plays runner-up group 2) and 4 (Group 4 winner plays runner up group 1) semis is 1 v 2, 3 v 4 this means no one from same group meet again till finals with same format for Plate competition
